Jun 04, 2015

Newly arrived on our website, the Z64 is part of the compact, silent and low-power NEO range. Powered by Quad Core Intel Bay Trail Z3735F, the MINIX NEO Z64 comes either with Android™ KitKat 4.4.4 or Windows 8.1 with Bing (32 Bit).

It offers 2GB Memory and 32GB of internal storage. Both versions support a microSD card (up to 64GB) for additional storage and come with two USB 2.0 ports that you can use to add an external USB drive or to plug a (wireless) keyboard or mouse.

Connectivity includes 802.11n Wi-Fi (with hotspot sharing for the Android version only), Bluetooth 4.0 and 10/100Mb/s Ethernet. The NEO Z64 has a great quick boot time, clocked at approximately 10-15 seconds and draws only 7W.

Android Version

The Android version is a powerful full 1080p HD media player offering web browsing, Intel HD Graphics, pre-installed Kodi (XBMC), full 1080p HD video playback and streaming.

Rugged, reliable and with low-power consumption, it's an ideal player to run digital signage. However if you have a 4K requirement, we recommend you to choose the MINIX NEO X8H-Plus.

An automatic refresh rate is also featured. This is very useful for movie lovers because you don't have to manually change the settings of the video player when watching different videos or streams.

Windows Version

The Windows 8.1 version is a real computer with standard windows applications in a rugged, energy efficient and small form-factor at an amazing low price (just £98). We recommend it for a wide variety of applications both in the home or office environment.

What's in the box?

The NEO Z64 (Android version) comes with a user manual, a HDMI cable, a USB cable, a power adaptor and a remote control. The Windows version comes with a user manual, a HDMI cable and a power adaptor.
